Magento Developer’s Paradise in Review

From June 4-7, 2011 the second Magento Developers Paradise, the leading international developer conference took place on the beautiful island of Ibiza. Over 100 developers from over 20 countries attended the meeting. Lots of code, thrilling presentations and lots of fun in the sun made this event unforgettable for all attendees.

The conferences started at June 4th with a kick-off event. Thomas Fleck, CEO of Netresearch, and Yoav Kutner, CTO of Magento, welcomed all participants with a brief speech and a glass of champagne. Afterwards the attendees started to network and exchanged ideas in a totally relaxed atmosphere on Ibiza.

On the first day Yoav Kutner, opened the conference with his keynote speech. The program provided everything the Magento developer´s heart desires. In the following three days highly interested presentations were held and lots of Magento developers joined and unique hack-a-thon session until the early morning. After the conference days, all participants used the time and the unique free time events to network. The attendees joined an amazing sunny catamaran cruise to Formentera with jet skiing, music and snorkeling, a sightseeing tour at old Ibiza city, and entered also together the notorious nightlife of Ibiza.

The second international Magento Developers Conference received an overwhelming feedback from all participants and was to all sides a total success.
